About us

Ronald Weiser, U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia, inaugurated the InfoUSA Košice on March 25, 2004.

Mission of the InfoUSA Košice is to provide accurate and up-to-date information about cultural, educational and economic life in the United States and serve as cultural and informational center and focal point for Slovak-American programs in region of Eastern Slovakia.

The center organizes public discussion and debates with American experts in various fields, lectures and seminars for students. Programs are often organized in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy and Fulbright Commission in Slovakia. Prospective students wishing to study in the USA can access test books for TOEFL, SAT, GRE, and learn more about the application process to American universities. Audiences range from high school and university students, teachers of English, young professionals and general public.

Access to InfoUSA center is free of charge to the State Scientific Library registered members.
